About Chanukah

Chanukah is a Jewish holiday also known as the Festival of Lights, the Feast of Consecration, or the Feast of the Maccabees. It is observed for eight days and nights and starts on the 25th day of Kislev in the Hebrew calendar (late November to late December).

One of the main observations of this festival is the lighting of the Menorah, one branch of the candelabrum on each day of the holiday.
